  1. v0.7.0

    Latest

First-night setup, household time, and a smoother New Task flow

    August 28, 2026

A live setup checklist on Today, due dates that respect your Space timezone, and a New Task sheet that stays ready to type — plus clearer task details, quieter overdue styling, and tours you can actually finish.

Day one feels guided. Due times match your household. Capture stays fast on phone and desktop.

    Highlights

    • First night setup on Today — Flight Leads see a live checklist (Space timezone, a shared list, invite someone) with deep links until the basics are done or you dismiss it
    • Household timezone everywhere — due dates, reminders, and smart-add chips (e.g. tomorrow at 4pm) use your Settings → Space timezone, not the browser’s guess
    • New Task, less friction+ New task on desktop; list chips and All lists while you type; Add and Enter both create the task; the field autofocuses when the sheet opens and keeps the keyboard up when you switch lists or assign someone on mobile
    • Natural language capture — type Trash out tomorrow at 5pm and FamiFly sets due time, reminder, and a clean title; tap sparkle chips to edit before you add
    • Task detail as a real formWhen, Assigned, Importance, and Repeat are tappable rows; Delete sits at the bottom; Save persists due dates reliably
    • Quieter overdue & clearer chrome — white rows with an Overdue pill (no pink wash); sidebar grouped into Daily and Share & organize; app version lives under Settings → About
    • Organization is now Space — settings and help use Space for your household name, logo, and timezone
    • Tours you can finishDone, Skip Tour, and Continue work with tap and screen readers
    • Touch-first fixes — tooltips no longer eat the first tap on task rows and due chips; nested due editing from New Task works without a dead sheet
    • Android share-in — share text, links, or files from other apps into FamiFly via the system share sheet (where supported)

    Also in 0.6.1

    • Inbox unassigned reminders — nudge when ownerless Inbox tasks sit too long
    • Remind on task Notes, with photo or file attachments
    • Shares Central — audit guest links from Settings

Questions? Open Help → Support, or email care@famifly.com.

  2. v0.6.1

Inbox triage reminders and smarter task notes

Get nudged when unassigned Inbox tasks sit too long, set reminders on individual Notes, and attach photos or files to progress updates — so family and team to-dos stay moving.

Ownerless chores stop vanishing into the Inbox. Progress notes can ping you back — with photos when you need them.

    Highlights

    • Inbox unassigned reminders — when a task sits in Inbox with no assignee past your threshold (default 5 days), FamiFly nudges you to assign it or mark Anyone. Turn it on or off under Settings → Calm reminders, and override the timing per list
    • Reminders on Notes — on a task’s Notes, tap Remind for a quick offset (20 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, tomorrow) or a custom date and time. Great for “come back to this portion” on multi-day jobs
    • Attachments on Notes — add photos or files to a progress note so the next sitting (or a helper) can see what changed
    • Clearer list alerts — list notification prefs now include the same Inbox triage reminder, so busy boards can use a shorter or longer wait than your global default

    Also in 0.6.0

    • Shares Central — audit every guest link from Settings
    • View or Modify access on shared Guides and Scenarios
    • Last opened tracking on share links

Questions? Open Help → Support, or email care@famifly.com.

  3. v0.6.0

Shares Central and smarter guest links

Audit every guest link in one place, see when it was last opened, and choose view or modify access on Guides and Scenarios.

Guest links stay under your control — and you can see who still has one open.

    Highlights

    • Shares CentralSettings → Shares Central lists every active guest link in your space: Helper Passes, Guest Passes, list shares, Guides, Scenarios, and Remember. Search by name, target, or who created it
    • Last opened — each share shows when someone last used the link (or Never opened if it’s still waiting)
    • Revoke from one screen — copy, print a QR, change access, or turn off a link without hunting through each list or how-to
    • View or modify on Guides & Scenarios — when you share a how-to, pick View only (follow the steps) or Modify (guests can update the guide or scenario on their device)
    • Cleaner how-to sharing — a dedicated share sheet on Guides and Scenarios for new links, QR codes, and revoking old ones

    Also since 0.5.5

    • When, the way you’d pick it — calendar, time presets, or All day
    • Photos on Guides & Scenarios — up to 8 per how-to or step
    • Storage in Settings — see how much photo, voice, and file space this Space uses
    • Find Guides and Scenarios — Search (⌘K / Ctrl+K) includes how-tos

Questions? Open Help → Support, or email care@famifly.com.

  4. v0.5.5

A clearer When, photos on how-tos, and storage you can see

Pick due dates on a calendar, add photos to Guides and Scenarios, see Space storage in Settings, and find how-tos from Search.

Due dates feel like a date. How-tos can show the picture. Settings stay out of the way.

    Highlights

    • When, the way you’d pick it — a calendar, time presets, or All day. List rows show a time only when there is one (no misleading midnight)
    • Photos on Guides & Scenarios — add photos to a how-to or a step (up to 8). Tap a thumbnail to enlarge
    • Storage in Settings — see how much photo, voice, and file space this Space uses. Near the cap, upgrade from there. Support screenshots don’t count
    • Settings, one screen at a timeAccount, Organization (name, logo, timezone), Calm reminders, Sounds, Trust & balance, and List alerts each have their own page
    • Find Guides and Scenarios — Search (magnifying glass, or ⌘K / Ctrl+K) includes how-tos; the Guides and Scenarios pages have their own search too
    • List activity statuses — one-tap chips on a list (working, skip, or labels you add) so people can mark progress without opening the task

    Also since 0.5.4

    • Smart add — type a due date and reminder in the same line (due tomorrow at 5pm, remind me Friday morning)
    • Multi-day & open-ended tasksWhen + Work notes, or subtasks
    • Intelligent suggestions you can stop or resume from Settings
    • Customer Support reply notifications in the app

Long jobs stay clear. Suggestions stay under your control. Support stays in the loop.

    Highlights

    • Work notes — log what portion got done without checking the whole task off; great for open-ended projects
    • Intelligent suggestions you controlstop suggesting a habit (or swipe left), and resume stopped or snoozed suggestions from Settings when you want them back
    • Customer Support replies — get notified when the team answers your ticket so you can follow up in the app

    • Clearer breadcrumbs — detail pages show the real name (for example Tasks › My tasks, Guides › …) instead of a generic “Details”
    • Inbox Flick & Pick — choose a style from the people dock (the menu closes as soon as you pick). Flick: flick a person onto a task. Pick: select tasks, then tap people or groups. The page scrolls normally; the people dock stays put with room under the last task
